Dave Wheat

Business Owner / Director

I have been in the printing industry for 40+ years, fulfilling various roles along the way.

My time in the industry also saw me travel overseas for a while, working in print in Egypt. I became a director of The Nottingham Label company in 2009 and since then the group has expanded – including adding Goodwood bags to the group in 2017.

• My favourite sports team is Nottingham Forest, I have a Robin Hood suite membership.

• I enjoy holidays to Tenerife.

• I like a John Smiths or two at the weekend.

Mark Cooper

Site Manager

I have 45 years of print industry knowledge and experience, starting in August 1977 as an office junior, progressing to estimator and then to works manager.

I took over M J Milward printing in 2008 after being a minor share holder for 10 years. I stepped down as director and became site manager of M J Milward in 2015 when it became part of The Nottingham Label Company group.

• I am a keen fisherman and gardener.

• I have been singing in a church choir for over 50 years.

• My favourite sports team has been Notts county since 1965 – 3 generations of my family!

Alan Roome

Office Manager

I have been in the print industry for 38 years, in that time I have been a label printer, supervisor, factory and office manager.

I was also the UK health and safety manager for my previous employer. I have been working for the group since May 2017.

• I am a season ticket holder at Nottingham Forest and have supported them for over 50 years.

• My favourite holiday destination is Australia, I also have family over there!

• In 2010 I cycled from Lands End to John O Groats which took me a total of 16 days.

Sales Executive

I have 40 years experience in sales within the Florist industry, which gave me a vast knowledge of packaging.

I joined the company in November 2023 after working along side the company for many years.

• My favourite holiday destination is the Maldives.

• I love soul / northern soul music. I also like a bit of Ibiza Dance!

• Casablanca is my favourite film
